ZyncView is a set of free browser games and a reading exercise played with red/blue glasses. Red and blue images are shown to each eye separately, so both eyes have to work together. Quick daily sessions, and no sign-up needed to try.

What is dichoptic play?

"Dichoptic" means that each eye sees a different image at the same time. In a dichoptic game, some objects are drawn in red and others in blue, so with red/blue glasses each eye sees its own picture and both eyes have to take part in the game.

How it works

A red filter in front of one eye and a blue filter in front of the other split the picture. Read how dichoptic games work.

Eye health and children

Regular eye checks matter for everyone, especially children. Our guides explain what eye checks include and what signs to watch for. Read the guide for parents.

What research says

Scientists study dichoptic games in many settings. We summarise the published research in plain language, including its limits. See the research summary.

How ZyncView Works

Our games use dichoptic play (showing a different image to each eye) so that both eyes take part in the game.

1

Binocular Stimulation

You wear red/blue glasses (red filter on the left eye, blue on the right), so each eye sees only its own colour. Brightness of each colour is calibrated for you at setup.

2

Gradual Challenge

As you play, the brightness balance between your two pictures changes in steps, and the two colours swap eyes every minute, so the game keeps asking both eyes to take part.

3

Progress You Can See

ZyncView saves your score, level and minutes, so you can see how you are doing and keep up a daily routine. ZyncView is a wellness and entertainment product, not a medical tool.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is ZyncView free?

Yes. ZyncView is free to use: there is no cost, no hidden charges and no credit card is required. You can try the games without an account, and creating an account is free too.

Who is this game designed for?

ZyncView is for anyone who enjoys games and wants a fun way to practise using both eyes together: children, teenagers and adults. It is a wellness and entertainment product, not a treatment. If you have a concern about your vision, see an eye care professional.

How long should I play each day?

We suggest 10 to 20 minutes of play per day, 5 days a week. Short, regular sessions are easier to keep up than long, occasional ones. Take breaks, and stop if your eyes feel tired.

Do I need special glasses?

Yes. ZyncView uses red/blue (anaglyph) glasses: the red filter goes on your left eye and the blue filter on your right eye. Each game starts with a short calibration for your screen and glasses. You can find inexpensive red/blue glasses online or at an optician.

Is ZyncView a medical treatment?

No. ZyncView is a wellness and entertainment product and not a medical device. It does not diagnose or treat any condition and does not replace care from an eye care professional.
